TFoley   Tricia Foley specializes in all aspects of home design and restoration. Known for her simple, classic style, her work includes contemporary interior design as well as preservation projects, exhibition design, and book publishing. She is currently putting this experience to work curating exhibitions, bringing an 1820s Long Island house back to life and creating an illustrated biography of 19th century writer/editor/historian Mary L. Booth.

Clients/projects have included Wedgwood, Ralph Lauren Home, The American Folk Art Museum, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Gettysburg Foundation, Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society, Yaphank Historical Society, and Preservation Long Island.

A former magazine editor, she has authored 10 design/lifestyle books including: Having Tea, The Natural Home, At Home with Wedgwood: The Art of the Table, Williamsburg: Decorating with Style, and The Romance of British Colonial Style. Her work has been featured nationally and internationally in magazines such as House Beautiful, Country Home, Elle Décor, Southern Accents, Architectural Digest, Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times, House & Garden UK, Country Homes & Gardens UK, Elle Decoration Italy, and Skona Hem Sweden. Television appearances have included HGTV, The Discovery Channel, and Fine Living.

The restoration of her 1820’s farmhouse on Long Island is the subject of her recent book Life/Style: Elegant Simplicity at Home. Her newest book will be published January 2019 – Mary L. Booth: The Story of an Extraordinary 19th-Century Woman.
